We are told to look at the beauty that surrounds us. We tend to write off the sad, despair, and the ugly. We refuse to acknowlege that these too are a part of life and should not be simply cast off. At one time this was a thriving vibrant almost living thing, through our own denials and doubts we casted it off and left it to die on its own. That speaks volumes on us and our values. Not everything in life is going to be pretty but we can take what we have use it wisely and improve upon. Things wear out but just to leave and forget I think not. We should dignify the end and and not leave it to rot. A rebirth or a replacement would would be more respectful--abandonment is is not a kind thing either to people or things.

The perspective is great for the white building is near the camera. It is like it leads to the awaiting view, the old, vintage building. Yeah, as others said, the photo goes well with the decaying parts of the building. It gives so much nostalgia and a bit of a solemn feeling for it has the grayish weather and the picture has a black tone.

So good. I love this stunning photo. You made me inspired to take more photos. I am still an amateur photographer. Heehee.

phenomenal job in conveying serious tone and mood here with the editing -it's perfectly dark and detailed and heavy -love it - also the overall composition is fabulous :)

I love this, the colors work so well with it adding to the decay look of the building. I personally like things like this because there are always fun things to find inside!
but i love the angle as well.

Yes, old, worn out, nostalgic. The green inside the old factory caught my eye to give me hope.

That's okay. I LOVE the Fallout games!!! You can call me a Fallout nerd, especially a Fallout New Vegas (my favorite one in the franchise) nerd. I don't mind.

Aww no (: I liked fallout 3 more, it was so much more bleak and dark. But New Vegas is cool too. Just didn't like the beginning so much xD But that's awesome, found someone who likes the game too! I don't know many people who play fallout anymore :c

Don't worry. I still play it! :) If it's okay to say this, then one of my favorite things about Fallout New Vegas was the Gommorah in the Strip! ;)

If that's where I'm thinking of. I felt so guilty after having sex with that hooker and then she started crying and tell my all her problems! I was like "woah woah!" But yeah I agree, Gommorah is a pretty badass place xD I'm going to be honest here though, Old World Blues was so fecking boring!!!!!!!! xD That's one of my main complaints!

I totally agree! ;) I love Joanna! She's my favorite character from Fallout New Vegas because she's so sexy and beautiful! Yeah, Old World Blues was annoying, but nothing will be worse than Dead Money!!! Oh my god! Dead Money was such a hard expansion pack, I spent 3-4 days (all day and night) completing it. I hated Dead Money!!! :angered: My favorite expansion pack was Lonesome Road. :)

These sorts of images always leave me slightly sad, as if the buildings themselves are unhappy.

Beautiful and eerie.

May I ask what city/country this was taken in?
